ANTI-DUMPING

EFMA has been obliged to use the EU anti-dumping instruments to correct unfair injurious dumping. EFMA supports a strengthening of the anti-dumping instrument and rejects accusations that it is a protectionist instrument.  On the contrary, the EU, in particular, has the most liberal anti-dumping instrument in the world.  Indeed the EU anti-dumping system administered by the European Commission includes an almost unique lesser duty rule and almost unique public interest test.
