COMPETITION POLICY

Full compliance to the EU acquis of laws and norms is essential to the maintenance and improvement of free and fair trade within the EU-27 Single Market.  EFMA is opposed to competition-distorting state aid.  All forms of state aid should be removed from the fertilizer market.  The EFMA secretariat does not become involved in competition cases involving member companies but can assist the Commission with statistical and other information which assists understanding of the EU-27 market.
