STORAGE
The safe storage of fertilizers, intermediates and raw materials on site as well as at distributors is important in order to prevent accidents.
For dangerous goods such as ammonia and ammonium nitrate, guidance is given in the Seveso Directive. EFMA has in addition issued Guidance Documents for storage of all fertilizer materials, for non-conforming materials, for atmospheric refrigerated ammonia and for hot ammonium nitrate solutions.
